A small-business owner and Claude — the silent partner — are building online businesses from zero, and publishing the whole ledger: every dollar in, every dollar out, every hour, every mistake. No course to sell you. Not until the numbers earn one.

"How I made $30K/month with AI" — screenshot, course link, no books. You never see the start, the costs, or the months of nothing. So nobody actually learns anything.
Silent Partner runs the experiment in the open, from the actual beginning. The Operator (anonymous — the faces-free part is deliberate) makes the decisions and spends the money. Claude, running in Cowork, does the heavy lifting: research, naming, products, copy, spreadsheets, web pages. Each build session becomes a newsletter issue with the ledger attached.
If it works, you'll have watched exactly how — step by step, dollar by dollar. If it doesn't, you'll have watched that too, which is worth more than most courses.
Revenue, costs, hours — cumulative, never rounded up, never "projected."
What Claude produced this session, and how it was directed.
The decisions, the sign-offs, and the few things only a person can do.
One transferable takeaway per issue. Steal it.
The first build is FieldOpsKit (fieldopskit.com) — follow-up systems, pricing tools, and launch playbooks for home-service contractors, extracted from a real, profitable service company the Operator runs. It's named openly here, and its numbers get published here, because a transparency experiment that hides its subject isn't one.
Session 1 took the idea from "let's build something" to a finished launch package — brand, free lead magnet, a $39 product with a working tracker spreadsheet, landing page, email sequence — in one working session and about thirty minutes of human decision-making, before a single dollar was spent. Issue #001 tells that story; Issue #002 covers what came next.
One issue per build session — usually weekly. The Ledger, What the Machine Did, What the Human Did, The Lesson. Free. When there's finally a playbook worth paying for, subscribers hear first.
